70% of the items manufactured at Frank J Butch Company are from castings both sand and investment. We also turn bar stock parts up to 5” in diameter and 20” long.

The general distribution of the materials we machine are:

50% stainless steel/ space age alloys

25% brass/bronze

15% iron/steel

10% aluminum 

We occasionally machine plastics but we feel our strength lies in the threading, specialized drilling and general machining of stainless steel.

 Beside turning we also have the capability of honing to 2 1⁄2” diameter and centerless grinding to 1 1⁄2”

 We have the machinery to broach up to a 5/8” keyway.and also perform various milling operations.
